Now, Healthy Family First
Yes, oral infections can weaken the immune system. Here's how:
Chronic Inflammation: Oral infections like periodontitis (gum disease) trigger chronic inflammation, which can tax the immune system over time. This constant state of activation can weaken its ability to respond to other infections or illnesses effectively.
Bacterial Spread: Harmful bacteria from the oral cavity can enter the bloodstream through damaged gums, spreading to other parts of the body and potentially causing systemic infections or inflammation.
Link to Systemic Conditions: Oral infections have been associated with conditions like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and respiratory infections, indicating the broader impact of poor oral health on overall immunity.
Maintaining good oral hygiene through regular brushing, flossing, and professional dental checkups is crucial for supporting a healthy immune system. - From ChatGPT
Questions: to ask yourself:
Cancer, aches, and pains caused by chronic inflammation—wouldn't you want to prevent that?
Wouldn't you want your other body parts to stay healthy?
Now, are you suffering from other ailments?
Our humble dental clinic can help you—but for that, you must also take care of our family to help us help you. If you ask for free services, redos, or discounts, you are forgetting about our families and thinking only of yourself. While we do understand the pain you may experience, it is often due to neglect or not coming for preventive dental checkups. Every relationship needs to be symbiotic, not parasitic like a virus, in order to survive, thrive, and prosper. Remember, you are like family to us, even though you have your own family to look after. Asking for those deals means you need to move toward living interdependently.
We dedicate a lifetime to serving you, striving to be good role models with food for thought and strong immunity.
The importance of good immunity became clear to everyone during COVID. Inspired by this, I tried to start a trust foundation and got in touch with my current CA through my Lawrence Lovedale School network. Around the same time, I wrote a publication outlining a possible long-term prevention solution. Mouthwash for good oral hygiene, with a water flosser (previous blog: O-water flosser). Later, I was reintroduced to the CA managing my accounts through my mother's Mount Carmel network.
It’s a dream to start the trust foundation one day, perhaps in 2026. Together, my wife and I have planned to call it the HOPE Trust Foundation, as she brought hope into our lives.
Every yummy scoop of Chyawanprash during COVID reminded us of the ancient wisdom like Yoga (of immunity boosters written on the cover) shared by our Gurus. It brought back cherished childhood experiences. Spending time together also strengthens bonds, boosts immunity, and fosters social interactions, making us less susceptible to ailments.
Perhaps that’s why Indians often don’t need those plastic water bottles to stay hydrated—our traditions and shared moments keep us grounded and resilient.
