Dear valued patients,


Effective immediately, we have discontinued WhatsApp communication for external purposes. Unless needed, such as an OPG from our in-house Radiology partner or for efficiency in preventive care where photo sharing is a concern, to receive a reply, a booking fee is mandatory. For all other matters, please use alternative channels. If you're facing continuous urgent and unpaid WhatsApp messages for online consultations, it can be distracting from work. Nor productive for good result: Additionally, not mentioning viral misinformation forwards screenshots are being taken, and some individuals expect responses on a blue tick, similar to a fee charge without consultation, which is generally not possible without a visual examination. In some cases, reporting on WhatsApp unpleasant conversations causes breaks in trust, as emotional and non-verbal cues are missing, leading to misunderstandings. Therefore, fostering better healthy mutual understanding two way orally is crucial for building and retaining trust to promote growth and healing in good faith.

4. Email is designated for sharing large files like CBCT, especially from out-of-town patients, to get an idea of booking appointments, stay duration, or second opinions. However, after a booking fee, given then, if senior dental assistant checking requested, the doctor will see the email. The consultation fee, if applicable, will depend on the time and number of doctors involved or their expertise. 


For in-town patients or once-in-town visits, high-quality printouts are needed at the clinic for immediate reference, especially during an implant procedure or for Ortho hand-wrist images for treatment planning through our Orthodontist or a possible scanning partner if needed.


This service is mainly for old patients or clients who are familiar with the timings of their doctor and wish to book appointments. Note that the email service is not intended for consultations due to similar reasons like WhatsApp, as it tends to be in black and white. Also, sometimes it might go into spam, and patients may be unaware.
